Share Your Talents
ERC serves adults with disabilities at our Life Skills location in Springdale. We offer classes at this location and are always thrilled to have groups come in and offer our clients something new. Some examples are:
cooking classes (show our clients how to make a simple dish and then share it with them)
exercise/dance/martial arts demonstrations (get everyone up and moving!)
put on a magic show
provide a class about healthy eating, dental hygiene, sewing, art - whatever!!
The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination and there is no way you will walk out of ERC without making at least one new friend!
We serve 30 residents in our transitional living facility in Springdale. The facilities serve as a stepping stone to an independent life for the people we serve. Volunteers are needed to spend one-on-one time with our residents - playing cards, doing a craft or just taking the time to listen.
Collect Toys or Diapers for the Child Development Centers
ERC operates five Child Development Centers in Northwest Arkansas that serve children from six weeks to five years of age who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. New toys and diapers are always welcome at each location to serve the needs of these children.
Provide birthday parties once per month for any child or adult services location
Our clients love to celebrate and it would be wonderful to welcome a group each month to celebrate with us!
